Property marketing is in our DNA

There are dozens of tried and tested messages to help sell properties. Financial incentives, furniture packages, transport links and good schools all regularly feature in property marketing.

But how about the impact on your DNA? Heard that one before? No, neither had we.

A study has found that the DNA of people in the highest socio-economic groups aged more slowly than those in the lowest.

Apparently it’s known as ‘telomere shortening’ and by middle age the most advantaged were genetically seven years younger than the most disadvantaged.

So whilst moving to a desirable area won’t, in itself, slow the ravages of time, if you can afford to do so, it’s likely you will age at a slower rate.

One thing’s for sure, it creates a whole new meaning of a regeneration scheme.

A new home for Law of the Few PR

As a specialist property PR agency, Law of the Few is regularly sharing office related news on behalf of clients. However, this time it’s about us.

We have recently taken the keys to our new office on King Street in the heart of Manchester city centre.

The agency was previously based in Castlefield but the opportunity to occupy space in one of Manchester’s most prestigious addresses was simply too good to refuse.

Law of the Few director, Jill Burdett, said: “We were offered the opportunity to move to 49 King Street and jumped at the chance.

“King Street is not only one of Manchester’s best known streets, it is right in the heart of the property and professionals business district and the office has excellent facilities for our growing agency.

“We now have larger client meeting room facilities and a much wider range of restaurants on our doorstep for those important strategic planning meetings.”

Let’s just hope the FD isn’t reading this.

The (Green) Hills Are Alive

Law Of The Few has been retained as the PR adviser for one of the UK’s highest profile new residential developments.

‘Green Hills Blackburn’ is the latest development to be designed by Wayne Hemingway and developed by NW-based developer Kingswood Homes.

Ultimately 167 new homes will be built in the semi-rural hills of Feniscowles and Law of the Few has been briefed to raise public awareness of the new scheme.

Agency director, Dan Gledhill said: “It is 15 years since Wayne Hemingway hit out at the ‘Wimpeyfication’ of British housing so when we saw the plans for this site we couldn’t wait to get started.

“There are 41 different house designs in the first phase alone and nothing about this site is standard, which makes the PR brief even more exciting.

“Kingswood Homes has a track record for delivering developments to the highest possible standards so we’re looking forward to telling potential customers about this unique mix of build quality, coupled with Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway’s inimitable design style.”

Law of the Few’s first task was to publicise the successful planning application which delivered a wide range of positive media coverage and was soon followed up by a double page spread in The Sunday Times.

An ongoing campaign aimed at maintaining regional customer awareness and developing local connections is now underway.
