When LAW OF THE FEW property PR client Robertson Homes wanted to highlight its range of exceptional family homes in Low Coniscliffe near Darlington, we thought the story would be best told in the eyes of local children.
Teaming up with Hummersknott Academy School, we tasked the students with a creative writing challenge to review the stunning Nasmyth show home and to describe their perfect family home.
To say the challenge generate lots of interest is an understatement. Some 500 pieces of work were submitted and far exceeded our expectations.
Dan Gledhill, LAW OF THE FEW MD said: “Not only did the students write mature and thoughtful reviews of the properties and the development, many also captured the strong emotions linked to ‘home’.
“Such was the quality, Robertson Homes is planning to use some of the work in their own marketing materials and channels and we are hoping to invite some of the winning students down to the development to create videos of them reading their work in the development setting.”
The writing challenge also caught the attention of The Northern Echo which ran a great piece you can read here.
Dan added: “This was a property PR project which ticked every box. Generating positive media coverage around the development whilst also hearing first hand why children would love to love in the homes created powerful and motivating messages.
“Thank you to Robertson Homes for running with the idea and being so supportive to engaging with the local school.”
